Independent service
Pincode API is an independent website and API. It is not an official India Post or Government of India service. References to India Post, government datasets, postal terminology or public records do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Postal-data limitations
Postal data can contain missing fields, spelling differences, delayed updates, changed administrative names and source errors. A PIN code can also be associated with more than one post-office record. Do not assume that one result is the only valid office for a PIN.
Coordinates and DIGIPIN
Coordinates are displayed only when they pass the project's validation rules, but an in-range coordinate can still be inaccurate or assigned to the wrong postal record. DIGIPIN and coordinates should not be treated as a substitute for field verification, emergency navigation or a professional geospatial service.
Delivery and serviceability
A post-office delivery label does not tell you whether a private courier, e-commerce company, cash-on-delivery service or other business serves that PIN code. Pincode API does not make courier-serviceability claims unless a separate verified service is explicitly documented.
API and code examples
API documentation and code samples are provided to explain the service. You remain responsible for testing your own integration, handling errors and checking whether the service is suitable for your use.
No professional advice
The website does not provide legal, financial, compliance, emergency, surveying or professional address-verification advice. Where a decision has legal, financial or safety consequences, use an appropriate authoritative or professional source.
